L.I.T. Surgical History

LIT is an acronym for "Luminance Integrated Technologies." L.I.T. Surgical was founded to address several problems that existed with the illumination technology used in operating rooms.

With other headlamp technologies, critical needs – such as mobility, weight, comfort, heat dissipation, light intensity, reliability, and sterility – were not being addressed.

After assessing the feasibility of several solutions, L.I.T. Surgical collaborated with some of the world's top optical scientists, design engineers and surgeons to develop the technology platform that is reflected in our product today.

The L.I.T. crew continues to be actively involved in the development and progress of its innovative headlight system. From expanded surgical uses to emerging marketplaces, the L.I.T. team is dedicated to providing the best illumination solutions for a variety of applications around the globe.
